I like having lots of families – such lovely people in my life!
My intimate family.
My non-blood-related-but-still-super-awesome family.
The boyfriend's family.
My school friends (at the bride's bachelorette party).
…and so many more loved ones in my other various “families”. I think it’s good to have lots of families for all of the different parts of you.
Yes! I make an appearance!

You are blessed, but also deserve credit! Keeping so many lovely people around you must mean you’re a magnet for kindess and love. Friends are the family we choose, they are amazing. Actual family is a gift from the overlords, I’m sure! I know you treasure them, that’s why this makes me happy 🙂
Aw, love this. I can so resonate with what you meant by having different families for all sides. For me, it’s my journalism buddies, my food buddies, my real family, my church family, my Singapore family…:-)
